GTN l Makassar – PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Penyaluran dan Pusat Pengatur Beban (UIP3B) Sulawesi berkesempatan mengisi Kuliah umum dihadapan 78 Mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIEM) Bongaya.

Kuliah umum yang mengangkat tema “Green Accounting dan Keberlanjutan Entitas”, PLN menyampaikan program Community Involvement and Development (CID) yang telah dilakukan oleh PLN UIP3B Sulawesi.

Jarot Setyawan General Manager PLN UIP3B Sulawesi menyampaikan bahwa PLN Tidak hanya fokus pada usaha penyediaan energi listrik kapada masyarakat, PLN juga berkomitmen hadir untuk masyarakat dan lingkungan sesuai dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).

Selama kurun waktu 2023 ini PLN telah mendukung berbagai kegiatan dari sektor yang berbeda meliputi Komunitas, UMKM, Pendidikan dan Kelompok Tani. Beberapa kegiatan tersebut antara lain Pendampingan Komunitas Penetasan Penyu, Penanaman Pohon Mangrove, Pemberdayaan UMKM Petani Bawang dan Vanilli serta masih banyak yang lainnya. tambah Jarot.

“Dalam menjalankan program TJSL, PLN tak hanya sekedar memberikan bantuan saja, tetapi juga melakukan pendampingan, Peningkatan kemampuan melalui pelatihan dan Sertifikasi kepada masyarakat sehingga memberikan dampak langsung. PLN pun menerapkan konsep creating shared value lewat program TJSL, lanjut Jarot”

Prof. Dr. Hj. Jannati Tangngisalu, S.E.,M.Si Ketua STIEM Bongaya mengungkapan rasa terimakasihnya kepada PLN yang telah bersedia mengisi kuliah umum kepada Mahasiswanya, “Semoga apa yang disampaikan pada hari ini dapat memberikan pandangan baru kepada Para Mahasiswa kami terkait keberlanjutan entitas yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan -perusahan besar di Indonesia.

PLN akan terus melanjutkan program TJSL untuk bisa mendorong ekonomi masyarakat, keberlangsungan Komunitas serta menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan berkelanjutan. Harapannya, melalui program TJSL kami bisa memberikan multiplier effect bagi semua entitas,” Tutup Jarot.
